Whats the weight of a standard classic turbo engine??

lol

Just need to know, so i know what vehicle i need to use to transport one

Not as heavy as it looks. 2 people can lift one easy.

Have had a complete engine including manifolds and turbo in the back of the wagon. Picked up a gearbox on the return journey too....

All fit in with room to spare, noticed the weightbut not excessive.

ste found this - may help a little

4.0 What is the weight of a typical converted EA81 installation ?

1.8 liter, weight dry with drive complete about 185 lbs, stock hp 72 at prop.

5.0 What is the weight of a typical converted Legacy installation ?

It will be 265 lbs for ej22. thats complete with drive starter alternator carbs etc. but no liquids.
