Default JGM remap

Hi,I'm booked in for a remap at the end of next month with JGM on my "99 Type R.

Do you think it would be a good idea to fit a K&N panel and a Walbro pump before hand? What sort of gains would I get? The car is standard except for Scoobysport decat downpipe & full Blitz Nur Spec.

dont think you will get much more bhp (10ish) ,but worth the time to fit them esp the fuel pump , just to be on the safe side

LOL why didnt I think of that!!

You can get away with fitting the pump without changing the pressure reg is that right? I'm not planning on doing any other major tuning like turbos or anything.

You would be better of with a Bosch 0 580 254 040 over the Walbro. Far better quality. They can be had for less an £100

cheers for the help...fuel pump it is then without changing the fuel pressure regulator.

FPR upgrade not required at your stage.
