Certainly looks well cared for - very clean engine bay - guess the condition is why he is holding out for £6k - probably do the same myself

Nice, looks clean from the pics but obviously seeing it in the flesh so to speak will be better. I've just bought a new Scooby and no-one seems to be shifting much on their prices, and I pushed pretty hard, playing one off the other etc. I'm of the frame of mind that if it's what you want and can afford it then go for it. You'll always hear of someone who's got a better deal somewhere but it's if the deal's right for you

i would offer £5600 as the tax has only 1 month to go and would save the guy having to re-tax the car i think its worth at least that much.

Obviously the jdm wrx is 250bhp standard. What engine mods does it have over a uk wrx which is 220bhp???

The guy who is selling up is a member of my local Scooby club (TyneTeesScoobies). Very nice car, I can vouch for it. Worth £6K easy.

Go on treat yourself-you know it makes sense. Price up all those extras got to be a few quids worth. Definately not spoilt as so many modded cars are.

Nice looking Jap bugeye....and from my part of the world

I'd check up on the specs for the WRX-R which was a Jap limited edition WRX with STi bits added.

If it helps for a price comparison, I have just purchased a 2004 wrx waggon off a nissan dealer in mint condition.

59000 miles, they have fitted a new cam belt, full service, 12 months mot and 12 months warrenty.

£6100

Its the 100 ron/octane fuel they have in Japan allows higher tuning of std engine. This does then mean unless it has been remapped it needs to run on v-power as a minimum, as its de-catted too then that would mean you'd be safer putting Octane booster in too...

UK wrx can run safely on 95 ron U/L but you get less power...

Bugeye NB-R listed as separate model here

https://www.scoobynet.com/technical-...odel-list.html

Wrx Nb-r - NASIOC

It's mapped for UK fuel

NB-R is a VERY good find, They made less than 100 after the tokyo motor show. They filled the car with concept things planned for the blobeye.

There are about a handful of saloons known in the world. The 100 that they made were shared between us, oz and I believe US (although the steering wheel makes me think it might be japan)

Only saloon WRX to have tiptronic. If I could find one I would snap it up at almost any cost. Top car.

Don't miss out on what may well be a great car, whatever you pay someone will chirp up & say you could have got it for half the price somewhere else. If you like it & it looks good after you've given it the once over, take the plunge. Subaru book valuations & real life valuations vary wildly, mainly due to the fact that no 2 Impreza's seem to be the same, some are caned & some are given more love & pampering than their other halves, as a result it's very hard to put a blanket price on cars like these. Good luck

The thing with these threads is that now after you putting the ad up it has turnned out to be a very rare car, and well looked after by the sounds of things.

How many people are now possibly going to think that its the car for them and he will probably now get a fully deserved asking price.

IMO you should snap it up as the rarer models hold there price better on re sale, good luck it looks a grreat car.
