I had my second post removed. I introduced myself in English in the English section and I also put it in the French general in French just thought I would be polite putting it in French and they removed it said it could only be in one section and as I was English thats the one that stayed

Some forums do not allow users to post unless they have met certain criteria, eg' posting hello, introducing yourself etc.
May seem harsh but it's their forum and they can do what they like to keep the forums moderated.
this isn't just a French thing.

I found the 205 forum a right pain to be allowed to post. I even did all the things I was asked to do (who, what, where, why) and still didn't get posting rights.
Gave up in the end.

I registered on there around the time I sold the Scoobaru and bought the 205. Was a pain to get through as I had to request membership via email. But did everything asked of me and introduced myself as only I would. Been an active member on there since.
Best thing is the place has genuine members on there and the members:usefull help ratio is far far greater than on here. Obviously there isn't the same amount of banter on there, but I actually prefer it to here. The tough moderation and detailed signing up process mean the place isn't full of supposedly witty arseholes or spam, like other forums I could mention. Bought and sold things too for peanuts, none of the over zealous pricing 'cos its for a Subaru innit' found on here and other boards either. Buuut, then again, it don't have 90,000 odd members with 12 aliases each, just approx 14,000.
Could honestly learn a thing or two from the guys over there.
