I think if its a straight car its a rather good bargain considering the price of WR1s normally.

Finance still to clear can cause bother / confusion. I'm not a big fan of the ghey blue of the WR1, sorry

JDM fan myself so would get a Jap STi / Spec C instead. Similar power, better toys.

The finance thing is an issue. Could be cheap because the chap can't afford the finance so just wants it gone and the debt cleared.

Confirm the finance with the owner and the finance company. Write the cheque for the finance company a cash for excess to owner. Complete V5 and you and owner go to post office together to post V5 and cheque to finance company.

Yes you could cancel the cheque but sod it, the guy either wants a quick sale or not

They do have a certain presence to them - although usually they are silly prices and make P1 prices look sensible

So apart from the DCCD what other goodies do you get with a WR1?

Considering they command premiums of £4K plus over similar aged cars.

Wow deja-vu When I was looking for a car 13 months ago I saw this car for sale with the exact same set of pictures ?! Obviously the owner could'nt be bothered to take some updated pics.

Does look nice though, and cheap

It's an 04 UK STi in blue... not my cup of tea and not worth the premium IMHO.

Not like a 22B

Fail

So they just stuck DCCD into a car for the UK market and gave it a different colour?

I've always felt they aren't worth the extra but then I'm not sure if any of the other "tarted" up cars are either. Theres one local to me and it looks very good.

I might be wrong...

But I thought the WR1 was a 04 STI + PPP+ DCCD-different Ice Blue colour paint work dark interior and an mapped to 320 instead of the normal 305 on PPP..

Might be wrong..

You are correct ........... and it's a good all round package out of the box but not worth the premium it commands over a standard STi 04 IMHO.
