Default isit time for a service?

hi there guys my subaru was last serviced at 50k with cambelt change. im not too sure how often it needs to be serviced but i feel it may be time for a service now. the oil is dark and thick.

i have decided to get millers oil 10w 40, ngk 7 plugs & oil filter. how does that sound? how would i knw driving wise if the plugs need replacing?

many thanks x

knoackered plugs would give spluttery performance, i would change them anyways.
I would also change fuel filter and transmission oil

The service intervals on your classic are 6 months or 7500 miles, whichever comes first.
And unless you know what services have been carried out, i would suggest a major service, all fluids and then you know where your up to as your next 3 will be smaller oil changes

That oil would be fine if that's what you want to use. At the end of the day, it's your car...totally up to you what you spend your money on. I wouldn't worry about all the people on here who seem to be terrified of trying an oil other than the one used by garage x, y or z. I know a specialist that would service a standard Turbo 2000 with the same oil they would use in a 350bhp track car.
