Pissed of with Scooby values? I have an idea.

I have a suggestion that others on this forum may be interested in or wish to pursue on their own.
We all think that our cars are worth more than the market does (especially to ourselves). Therefore I propose swapping cars of approximate value (with maybe some cash if necessary) as an alternative. That way we can avoid the unpleasantness of handling the measily bundles of cash that we would get by advertising our cars in the autotrader. It would be kind of a part exchange, but with any cash exchanged being of a low sum to even out any inaccuracies in value.
I have an STI 2 Type RA, with all standard juicy bits + aircon, Scoobysport backbox, filter and brakes, as well as 16" Advan Dirt trial alloys. The car is in suberb condition (really)and has done 38,000 miles, with full UK service history. As you all know, STI RAs are seriously quick.
However, my girlfriend hates the thing for various reasons, one of which is that it makes her ***** bounce too much (I don't see the problem)and every time I open it up she screams. (Anyone else familiar with this problem?).
Hence I am up for swapping it for a "slightly" more sedate later model WRX (must have vanity mirrors.........). If you are a WRX owner (97 or 98 vintage would be nice) who's girlfriend is less of a wimp and want a rawer/faster Scooby, drop me a line.
Cheers

Been also forced to admitt by the bird that I would consider a later, high spec UK car in a nice colour also for a swap. A few nice mods would be useful.
Expectant regards

Why don't you post a piccy ?
What year would an STI 2 be ? that sounds very old to me, but I would like a car with the funky centre diff thing (Is that an RA ?).
(Ps I have an MY98 UK 4 Door, FSSH, 60K air etc, silver, can't be bothered to list the spec but it's not bad)

Heres my car, spec is as follows
MY98 4 Door In Silver
Full Subaru Service History
One careful owner (thats the chap who sold it to me
Never been on track or raced
MY99 Front and rear brakes, with Pagid grooved disks. Pagid Blue pads on front, normal pagids on back
Stainless braided hoses back and front
Dot 5.1 Fluid
Only ever seen Castrol RS 10w/60 (since I've owned it), oil + Filter changed after every track day
Clear indicators + repeaters
PIAA's
Will have colour coded sills + mirrors + door handles
4 x Kerbed to buggery wheels with brand new SO2 Pole Position
4 x As new wheels with some cheap **** rubbers on
Prodrive Backbox
K&N
ALK, Bump Steer
(Some bits temporarily removed so I could get insurance )
I'll have a think and see if I'm interested, I think
1) It's possibly to old, although the low mileage is nice
2) I have problems enough getting insurance on mine
Heres my little beauty (She's had the black strips removed now)

Errrm thats the local duel carriage way outside my house ? did I mention it's never been above 70Mph ? Lol
Ps I thought the helmets and the passenger bracing himself against the window were a bit of a giveaway myself

Lee, there is a distinct possibility you may be correct there mate.
Hmmm, haven't quite got this car advertising thing sorted just yet.
Would you say that would be a *bad* picture to use in Autotrader ?
