Default Sorry ... more newbie questions.

I need to service my V5 Type R .....

These questions might be stupid but I just want to make sure I’m buying the right bits as I’ve never owned a Jap Import before.

Are all the oil filters the same? Do I just get an oil filter for say a 1998 UK Turbo? What are these Pink ‘STi’ filters I’ve seen at about £30. Do I need to use one of these?

Impreza Turbo WRX GENUINE STi PINK Oil Filter & Washer on eBay, also, Subaru, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 21-Jan-09 13:39:20 GMT)

I need new front and rear discs and pads ... again which ones are for my car?

An oil filter from your local dealers will do or even a Blue print one from a motor factor are ideal and not very expensive either.
Front discs should be 294mm and the rears i'm not sure, it;ll depend if you've got 2 pots ..290mm ??
