James, early UK cars were 208bhp, later models 215bhp. A & B JDM Saloons were 240ps, Cs were 260ps and Ds onwards were 280ps. JDM 'Wagons were rated ar 220ps and 1997 model year D-Series onwards 'Wagons were good for 240ps.

aaah poo!! was hopin it would be more!! a friend of mine has a toyota mr2 puttin out 307 bhp and i can sit on his a*se all day long!

Well that a good thing then. Just shows not all about the bhp, torque baby.
I have a UK 2000, with 217.9 bhp, and 238 torque. Mine is standard apart from decat.
