c'mon then, whos got...
....the highest mileage pre 96, pre-facelift impreza wrx import that still runs.
I dont think ive ever heard of one doin more than 100,000 miles on the original engine. certainly never seen one for sale with more than 100,000 miles
-must be pre 96, pre-facelift
-must be original engine
-must be an import
-engine must NOT have been rebuilt in any way. i.e original big ends.

It was a w6 until a few months back where jgm threw in a simtek along with other bits.
Happily does 1.5 bar.
But before that pretty much all stock, gets fed with good oil and good fuel and most importantly gets warmed up gently.
On the emissions test smoke levels were something ridiculous 0.1%
No mods on the engine per se but it now has 550cc injectors, an apexi filter and an fmic.
But the engine is 100% original, im the first uk owner and had her since she was close to stock bar the coilovers.

Almost there too 95000+ Cant be 100% that she is all original but as far as i can tell she is, might get a better look in the next month or so time for a cam belt, water pump and oil pump and a new Exedy Running Z4 ecu with Polarperformance chip @1.1bar absolutly no probs (famous last words)

MY93 WRX:
The car was a Personal Import - brought into the UK in Jan 2000 with 74,000 km (46,000 miles) on the clock. The speedo was converted to read in mph, and therefore the odometer has accumulated miles since it was imported...
In March 2008, the odo clicked past 200,000 (around 172,000 actual miles):
The odo is now showing around 207,000, but the speedo stopped working a couple of months ago (and had also previously stopped working for a short while) so the total mileage is probably around 185,000 miles, if not slightly more.
The car is still going strong. Original engine is still fitted. In fact, the orignal clutch was only changed just over two years ago!
The car has a few mods - decat, chipped, ported headers, 4-pot brakes. Despite the current lack of speedo, the engine still manages to red line on the odd occasion when conditions allow!

My96 import wagon wrx auto is on 124,000 not sure if thats kms or miles but either way still a good result . original engine and ecu used daily and driven hard every weekend on the cornish/devon roads. Still pulls like a dream and surprises most people being an auto

MY1995 WRX - 106,000 miles original engine and gearbox. Gearbox is a bit iffy but engine when standard still put out 250bhp. Says almost 150,000 on the clock because of the km's.
