11 years old and only 12 Services Stamps?

Classics where serviced far more than the Newage, age and/or mileage. At that age and mileage surely some more stamp than 12?

It only a car owned by Prodrive and they are not aware of any mods, with such a good pedigree surely a PPP cert would be in the MOT's, Services paperwork somewhere?

Just playing devil's advocate.

It looks to me to be an S reg Impreza, that has been fitted with crystal headlamps and fog lamps, a facelift grill, and maybe the 4 pot brakes from the 99/00 cars.... and wheels from the 00 model.
Apart from those items and the stereo it looks standard...

Its a MY99 car, not a bad buy but no visable extra's on the car and it doesnt have full history, if it did it would have about 20 stamps in the book and not 12 (6 monthly intervals on a nov 98 car).
Still get it checked out at a dealer, have a major service done when you get her, belts the lot.

Am I the only one to think its odd that they've mentioned a new driver's door window and shown every picture with the window fully down?

Other than that, it looks like a good tidy car.

One of the 22b's used to belong to Colin Mcrae, its now owned by the owner of a subaru dealership outside Edinburgh.

I read that advert as being for a car once owned by Prodrive in its past. Can't see any reference to being fitted with any Prodrive bits.

I do find it strange that it is registered straight after the 22b's, I pick it up tomorrow and will let you know.
May do some digging with Prodrive.

Just to add to the S-YOX's my Foz is the ex-Subaru UK press car (as photo'd in EVO) and is an S-YOX as well.

S387YOX was in the same edition of EVO as the 99MY Impreza UK press car, as was S445YOX as the official Prodrive 22B demo car.

A friend who used to work at Prodrive told me they had a number of management cars supplied by IMG that were S-YOX's.

Mine has Subaru UK Ltd across the bottom of the reg plates as the plate maker.

Clearly a 99MY car due to the HT lead/coil, my 99MY was registered in October 98.

Simon
