Is 60 BHP increase a noticable difference???
Iv had my car a year now running it totaly standard and im planning a re-map and other bits and bobs after new year, BUT, i want to know from 241BHP to around 300BHP will it make a noticable difference to how the car accelerates?? Should it make it feel like it did the first time i drove it ?? ( if that makes sence !! )

You'll definetly notice a difference. I noticed a big difference going from 250 to 270bhp(estimate), when I had an Apexi ecu fitted and mapped by Andy Forrest.
The difference is like day and night, because even though my car might have been peaking at 250bhp before, it certainly wasn't running the way it should have been. It's not all about peak figures - as they say. Much quicker now from A to B with a difference of just a 20bhp peak.

Peak figures aren't the bee all and end all. It's what the remap does to the power and torque curves (i.e. the area under the lines on the graph) that impresses the most.

Without the weight I hope!?!?!? ha ha ha !!
I'm hoping to take my 06 Hawkeye PPP to TSL in the Sprig to see what they can do for me power wise - so I'll be watching this post to see what everyone else says about the power increase / noticeable issue.

definately, 25% increase i alot in any car mate, and if your having it mapped as part of the deal youll end up with much beter curves and more power across the rev range, it will be like "the first time you drove it" almost certainly

your wallet mate.........i recently had my scoobie remapped by mr jolly went from 265 standard to 333bhp cost about £1400 all in fuel pump etc. But im looking at another £1000 on upgrading the suspension now cos im struggling to get the power down on the twisties in hind sight should have got chassis tweaked first .But you will notice a 60 bhp increase big time and the torque even more so enjoy.........................

On my last car I went from 225 to 290 bhp and the difference is amazing. For me it was the remap that made the difference with the drive. The decat exhaust before the remap was a matter of b*ll*cks I have just wasted more money.
I now run a Spec C and the performance with that is outstanding. It is running approx 330 bhp,I needed the extra bhp and lighter car to allow for me putting on weight

I went from 215 to 330 in a classic which was night and day.
215 felt very sluggish but 330 is a blast.
For the extra £150-£200 you should consider a different turbo which will give more power. Mine is a VF28.

60bhp difference!!
if you took it up a 1/4m Drag strip and only pipped a STD by 1 or 2 car lenghts you may feel a bit disappionted.
but in the real world, pulling out of corners, uphills and overtaking the diffference would be emense
IMHO
