...whenever anyone else on this BBS has their car in for a service, they get a WRX or a new STi 'demo' or whatever as a courtesy car.

When mine goes in I get a 'kin poxy little Mazda 121 bubble car.

Ar5ebiscuits.

One time it was in (same dealer) I got a 2.0 Legacy. Very flat and a bit gutless, especially after having gotten used to a turbo'd engine. It handled quite well I suppose.

Normally for me tho it's the scene from The Mask. You know, where the mechanics look at each other and say 'bring out The Loaner'.

The last car I had, they handed me a keyring with jumpleads instead of ignition keys attatched.

Makes me feel a little better that I'm not the only one driving round in dark glasses and a fake 'tache.

Last few times Simpsons serviced my car I've had either a MY00 Sport, MY01 Legacy, or a Daihatsu YRV (really nice car that one !!) Never been charged for insurance though (as far as I can remember).

Of the 3 or 4 dealers in my area, 2 offer a courtesy car and both require that you cover it on your own insurance. This has never cost me any extra with my insurance as the c/car is a lower group than Huggy.

An impreza sport would be nice, or even one of those big 4wd things...legacy twin-turbo even...

Instead of course I'm driving round in this stupid little bubble car.

Used to get Justy's from the local garage (SGT, Maidenhead) but they got rid of them and now have Imprezas. They said that strangely enough, none of their customers miss the Justy's

I got a Vauxhall Corsa diesel. Mind you, I could tell I was in a farming area - a label in the car said 'No smoking and no animals'

Thumbs up

I've had that Legacy with leather, cruise and all the toys. Nice.

I got a new WRX from another dealer for a whole weekend, and that was nice as well.

Does this help?
