I think it runs off the ecu, so I dont know if its a part of the uk ecu or not? probably would have to ask someone who has either done so or knows the ecu better

My understanding from when I tried to have it retrofitted to my bugeye is that it's part of the JDM map, and cannot simply be "enabled" on a UK map. The ECU would have to be flashed (or replaced) to the JDM version, and then remapped for the UK internals, fuel etc.
That said, I believe there are ways around this using things like boost pressure sensors etc.

As said the auto IC spray is a feature found only on JDM cars, and is controlled via the ECU.
The parameters if I remember correctly are inlet temp, engine rpm and road speed.

but i have been looking into adding cruise control as all the mounting points for the relevent parts are there and when i have retro fitted cruise control to other cars its just been the case of enabling it in the ECU....doesn't seem to be the case the with subaru.
not wanting to get my car remaped or ECU swapped just for CC but if it was as simple as other marques i would have done it...parts can quite easily be sourced from the US, Aus and Jap.
