Default Urgent sunroof help...please help!!!

Had a nightmare this morning....woke to find my huge gazebo had been blown by the wind onto 2 of my cars.....luckily there is no body damage at all but one of the legs has gone straight through my sunroof glass.
Worrying part is that according to previous owners its the only "type R" in the uk to have an electric glass sunroof.....where the hell am i gonna get a replacement glass from?????
Ive never seen another classic with one on before!!!
Luckily going thru the paperwork this evening i found the sunroof owners manual....the manufacturer is a company from the netherlands called Vermeulen Hollandia.
Has anyone heard of this company and is there a distributor in the UK???
Was it a factory option or is it totally aftermarket????
Also does anyone know of a company in the south east who may be able to custom make me another panel.
Sorry but very worried about this at the moment, really need to get this sorted asap so any info/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ive finally had a result on the sunroof saga....After a bit of research i found out that Vermeulen Hollandia was brought out by the sunroof company Webasto in 1998. Found a local dealer who has sourced one for me...luckily its the same glass as used in the present day equivalent.
Should be having it fitted Fri/Sat at a cost of £225 supplied and fitted.
Quite a bit of money but at least i have my car back.

Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!

what do you mean dodgy angle...its probably the wide angle lens making it look weird...trust me it sits fine.

Glad you sorted this out. Id hate to think if 'R' without a roof.

It is glass and part of the roof panel, not a bolt in aftermarket.
I think you had an option of glass or steel panel.

If you check the original invoices for the car that I gave the previous owner, it should even have the price.

How is the beastie, I read that the engine let go on a track day??

Hi mate, ive seen the invoice and it wasnt cheap....£715 in 1998

Just chucked 5.2k at the car when engine let go....full api engine rebuild with steel rods, lightened flywheel, exedy clutch and ported exhaust headers. Also full gearbox rebuild as 4th gear synchro gave up at the ring.

Just waiting on BR to map it..should have been done 5/6 weeks ago but Bob had to cancel due to unforseen circumstance.....could go elsewhere but dont really want to...im just gonna drive it sensibly til the map.

Must say its the best car ive ever had and turns heads wherever i go.

Handling is amazing....surprised as it only has coilovers on the front but was incredible round the nurburgring.I was pushing an Evo 8 MR340 round the bends and he couldnt get away from me on the straights either.

Since ownership ive had a whiteline adjustable rear anti roll bar fitted along with full geometry set up at powerstation.

Boost worried me a bit.1.5 bar...is that not a bit high??

It used to turn heads when I had it too .
Its certainly my favourite car to date.

Ive also embarrassed so-called higher power cars on the track with it. Especially GSR diffed EVO's with '380bhp' (They pull over eventually and then don't believe it only had around 310bhp - I know you must have more now). The second owner actually specced it up for the ring.

Handling and brakes wee certainly better than the replacment with T25 suspension package, on the road and track.

What do you mean with comment about only coilovers on the front. It had them all round when I sold it?

I think I ran more in my newage on standard internals.

Bob will confirm as that was his old car.

But a steel botton end should be up for more.
