Diesel Impreza

Can anyone point me in the direction of latest info on the forthcoming diesel Impreza? Any links or info on it would be much appreciated

I'm sure I've heard somewhere that the Scoob Boxer diesel lacks torque compared to other diesels?
Anyone comment?

That's what Clarkson said about the Legacy James May was driving on TG last w/e. The general opinion seems to be that it is a good first effort, smooth and quiet, but lacking in power compared to Ford, VAG and particularly BMW diesel lumps. If they want to really capitalize on the strengths of diesel in the Impreza platform it needs +280bhp and +400 lb/ft for some monster in-gear driving performance.
