What a shame; such a lovely looking car. I know if I'd seen it I'd have wanted it......but then I wouldn't have been able to afford to 'tinker' with it; at the moment I can hardly move in my lounge for boxes of scoobybits that I've ordered - and still within budget so far

I just hope I've not judged it wrong and it looks a mess ........otherwise the previous owner will curse me! As soon as it's done I'll post pics But I might have to wait a bit for my bodyshop man to fit me in

Well the update depends on what stage you got up to with the thread! It went on for pages in the end, I was amazed.

My car is now My insurance company told me last week that the money was about to be transferred into my account, as yet it hasn't appeared . It appears that the garage owner who rented his land to the car wash lot has insurance so guess that's up to my company now to sort that out with him; I did get an apology from him but have never heard anything from the car wash owner in the way of an apology

As for the driver - anyone's guess really - I imagine he's gone back to Mauritius; probably doesn't give it a moment's thought now.

I'm obviously distracted by my new car, but still miss the old one - was like my first baby!
