As long as the job is done properly and the same settings are used I can't imagine there would be a difference.....
EDIT: The settings might be company developed or you might get more for your money hence the extra cash.

just seems weird, getting quotes of like £40 at most from most tracking places, then the specialist places charge double ?
As long as the wheels point the right way and toe in the as it should via the laser, cant see whats different.
suppose its just that,"specialist"
cheers

I used PS for my 4WG. I asked for a fast road setting. I presume i paid more for their kit plus their experience with the settings, knowing what works best.
OK, i had a ARB and ALK at the same time, but left there very happy indeed. Soon to return.

One will use the book settings, the other will have a personal preference for each Subaru model. My tame mechanic ( RE Motorsport ) has his own idea about what makes a Scooby handle, quite different to the factory settings.
And yes the gear isn't cheap by any description !

heres a good one for you. Wanted my alignment set up for fast road use.
I phone up a scooby specialist which I wont bother naming.
I asked them when can they do it.
He says he'd have to phone up to book it in.
I said what do you mean, book it in??
at Kwikfit he says!!!
wtf>?
I just said Id leave it for now.

as we all think our cars are special we pay more to have them worked on, and the specialist know it!
trust me, we do four wheel geom's all day and on more desirable cars than the subaru, our prices start at £29 plus vat, up to £60 plus if cambers and casters need doing!
oh and to a high standard, our equipment is the nuts

Bollocks, thats a long way away. Still, if the softy Southerners can get a decent deal, then a wiley Northerner such as myself shouldnt struggle...

bit of advice, when you do find somewhere, ask to watch them do it as they cant say "that'll do him, he's only a northener"
