Default Oil Pressure Gauge

Where does it need plumbing into,

and do i need to use one of them plates which attach to the oil filter?

you can use one of them, personally i used IMPREZA WRX FORESTER LEGACY TURBO REMOTE GAUGE ADAPTOR on eBay, also, Subaru, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 02-Dec-08 07:54:16 GMT)

it attaches in place of the original oil pressure switch under the alternator. The oil pressure switch and the gauge sender then screw into the end of the adaptor.

think that makes sense lol

One end goes into the hole where the original pressure switch is, and the original switch then screws into the new part and my sender unit screws into the end? then wire the sender unit back to the gauge,

yep thats it. you may need to extend the wire on the original switch to make it fit (I did anyway) but its a pretty simple job. Think there is a guide somewhere on here that has pictures.

TBH, if yr gauge is any good you don't need the switch anyway. Just put the sender in the original switch hole, and the switch in a safe place in the garage
