Turbo question

hi i have a uk classic scooby on a '00'. Does anyone know what the turbo is that comes standard and is it true its smaller than the jap import turbo? Is it worth changing for the import turbo to get few more ponys out the car?

td04 replacing the turbo will need a remap to get the best out of it.

vf35, fuel pump, 3 port and then a remap

wouldnt upgrade the turbo without a remap, could be asking for trouble

Td04 on wrx MY97-
Td04 also on wagons from MY92?-
Td05 on sedans My92?-incl 96
Imports should have the same as far as I know.
Then you have the STi's....
