I was watching one of the many top gear repeats the other day, and something rather special came along.

Apprently some italian firm has taken the scooby rolling chassis and engine and put a light weight shell ontop , it was lovely and cheap from what i remember.

Can anybody put a name to this car or did i dream it ???

are you thinking of the delphino feroce?

If so, it is not italian but the name is, it probably wont go into production, and it is damn ugly plus not cheap.

was fast though.

adam,
Cheers for that but after looking at the pics, unless they redesigned it no not that one ,coz like you said that one is but ugly.

The car looked a little like the Delphino but with way more classy streamlined look, like an MX5 on steriods !!

But hey somebody on here may done this already, has anyone ripped the top of their baby and put there on kit car type shell on it ???

Cheers
