What happened to reading first ?

OK, bit of a rant, but only slightly ...
Although it's probably nice to re-invent the world every 2 hours, it's not so much fun on Scoobynet.
I would hope that people at least read the last 2 pages of topics in the different sections before posting a new topic. Alas, that does not seem to be the case, so as of today, we have about 4 topics in General discussing the alledged MY03 face-lift. That is after the 17 topics about a floating STi...
I realize search is not working, but come on, just flipping through the last 2 pages of topics isn't that much work, and it may look a bit less like everyone's just talking but no one is listening.
It may also be fun to try to post questions in the correct forums as well.
Sorry for being a bore, but it's getting up my goats.

Fair enough; I must admit to not always checking back.
This `reading` bit seems to be a computer virus; how many times have you asked for email information of one sort and be given that of another or even totally ignored ?

Strange but true, you posted on a subject that I had started, a week later than me. Can't remember what it was about but it made me chuckle, as you are usually first with info Bitten did the same as well as a few others, I just thought that I wasn't high profile enough for people to remember my posts.
I always make a effort to see if a post has been done before I post something new, I guess others aren't quite so thorough.....

Sure, I'll be guilty sometimes as well, you can't read everything all the time, but I don't think it will happen often to me.

Maybe I'll just have to live with it, it may be due to the sheer amount of posts that the information is getting more "atomized".
James, know the feeling, but at least over here you still get very good answers on most posts (bar the occasional one that gets unnoticed).
Still think that posting the new topics in the correct forum would help though ... I see a lot of Drivetrain/Suspension/Brakes questions asked in General, whilst these would probably get better response in the appropriate sections.
