Default Squeeky belts

Does anybody have loud sounding belts? Mine seem very noise but am sure there not slipping. If I put water on them while its running the noise goes away do you think that they could be to tight.

I had this every so often on my old UK classic mate. A squirt of wD40 round the pulleys used to help. Dunno if it's to do with tightness, but I used to to it every couple of months. Usually worse in summer though if I remember correctly.

Aye, squirt of WD then dust talc over it. If that doesn't work, check tension. If ok, new belt.
