any one have the magnex oval 6x4 back box what is it like on the motorway i don't want anything that will make me deaf on a motorway run

I had a Magnex 6x4 oval on my Bugeye WRX.....nice burble, barks nicely on WOT and not too wearing on the motorway

i have a magnex 6x4 with the center with the magnex silenced center box fairly quite on a motorway

I have a full magnex system , nice and quiet when you want it to be
and loud when you give it some.

However i have hear that they have now gone out of business.

I have a magnex oval back box on my standard uk turbo and i think it is really loud. It is loud on the motor way and even on tickover. I give up listeneing to the radio on dual carrageways and motorways because of it.

I used to have a scorrpian backbox on my old wrx and that was nice and quiet with a good sound.
I am going to swap it for a quiet one (as soon as i have one)

Had a straighthrough system on my Impreza 97 sti, little too noisy on idle if you have lots of neighbours, but not to loud on long journeys. Very loud when you put your foot down, but sounded lovely.

got a magnex 6x4 backbox on a 93 wrx. its not that bad on the motorway atal. Of course you knwo its there buts its not annoyingly loud.
