Default Strange Shuddering....

As above...When i get to a junction or just slowing down using the gears, If i go from 4th to 3rd or 2nd when i lift the clutch to engage the gear i get a shudder or vibration from the front passenger side of the car. Does anybody have any ideas what this could be?? or has anybody experienced this problem?? My car is a 95 wrx import ( if this helps )

Not sure about a shudder from one side of the car only.

However shudder when engaging gears like you describe is common enough on Imprezas. Try a few reasonably hard launches in the car, used to happen to my my00 turbo and this would clean the clutch - absolutely no technical knowledge so can't tell you why this happens but it does.

I would personally have thought it's clutch judder, but this makes the whole car judder and shale a little. Are you noticing it more on the drivers side, due to your driving position not being central?

If it is indeed clutch judder, I'll hazard a guess it needs a clean - sometimes crap can got onto the plate(s) etc. I had this with my very first car - a white Impreza Sport. I had it sat outside for 5 months while learning to drive. when I had a relative pop it out for a spin, the clutch judder was plain. The day I passed my test and did my insurance etc., I took it out for a good long run and did a couple of launches. Sorted it straight out. Never came back...

Not necessarily full bore launches. 3-4000rpm maybe? Or even just dribble forward in 1st then floor it in a couple gears. Usually works, just don't ever do it.
