Question Pheasant Plucker!!!

Just had a Pheasant slap bang into my intercooler scoop ... right mess, blood and guts on the windscreen.

Anyway, the scoop is vibrating on one end - on closer inspection the black plastic insert is now missing from one end (under the bonnet).

Tried a screw in place of it, doesn't hold .. I don't guess that the Stealer will stock such a thing - anyone had this happen?

I hit one on Sunday. Roughly 60 Mph, hit it dead centre of my lower Prodrive Mesh Grill. Dented it so far back that it pulled 3 of the retaining pins right out of the holes, scratching the bumper where they pulled loose into the process. That along with smashing the botttom of the number plate.
Made for a fun time tryimg to bend it back into shape and line the pins back up!!

Don't think there would of been much left of the one i hit. I looked in the rear view mirror after i'd hit it and all i could see was the air filled with a cloud of feathers

I hit a deer several years ago, came from nowhere but just not quite quick enough, under the front drivers side wheel, smashed the fog light. It was about the size of a large greyhound, took a few minutes for the heart to stop. Have to say I felt physically sick and this is from someone who did a fair amount of shooting for the pot when younger.
The experience quite possibly altered the way I drive, ie expect the unexpected and no longer think in terms of blame for accidents, just do everything within your power to avoid.
I can imagine that hitting a pedestrian would be a life changing event.
Sorry sounds pious but not meant to.
