Do Aeroplanes Have BRIGHT Orange lights at night ?
Missus just called me into the garden, a mahoosive BRIGHT ORANGE light in the sky, it was at say, 10 o clock in the sky and gradually made its way in a curved fashion to 2 o clock in the sky then just went twinkle twinkle poof and was gone, took about 5 mins in total.
i though it was a plane, but was not like any plane light at night ive seen.
we have mobile footage but doesnt do it justice
weird

Cheers for the input guys.
Dont think it was a jet of any lond, far too slow, as for the meteor shower, this is 1 single orange ball, not a shower or anything like it, heres another vid found after some googling 11 days ago by someone else in the same location.

Wouldn't be a meteor - they usually flash by in less than a second. Trail can sometimes remain if it's a bright one.
Wouldn't be a comet, they're usually visible for days/weeks at a time and there aren't any around at the mo that are that bright.

Was something similar reported in our local paper.
The main thing that was described was a large bright orange ball that moved silently.
3 different people reported it , this was in leicestershire area ,4th august.
