Did post this in the tyre section...but no reply... but i need a quick answer on this please...


19" rims wil tyre size 215/35/19..are these of for the MY03 STI? Is there a issue with running 215's instead of 225's?

215 is the tyre size of the wrx, but as these are 19s im guess its to stop the wheels rubbing, i run 18s with 235 on and they rub a little on hard cornering, may i ask why 19s? stis run with 18s as the best hadling im sure 19s will mess up the hadling???
are there may others out there running on 19s? 19s are really a bling thing as i have read not great for these cars.

I used to have 19" Oz Alloys on my only Blob.and they looked great......and it was a way of being different i guess...but that was many years ago now..and i on my 5th car since..

i can t seem to recall just how much it effected the handling?

I seriously would not entertain 215 x 19 tyres. Must be 225's x 18's or 19's.
All newage came with 225 and possibly 235 on some JDM versions.

I'm running 19s atm with 225 tyres.
But as said, 19s are purely just for looks, handling is horrible with them.
The only reason why I put them on was because I had these wheels on my bugeye, and the wheels that came with the hawkeye were just ugly.

Will have to do until I got funds for some Rota GTRs

Well... i got the wheels...tyres are small for the Rim, spose i'l run with them till i either sell these or have enough cash to get some decent 225's...
