Hey guys, have just bought my first scoob, a 2001 WRX in WR Blue!
I had 2 MR2 turbos before this and was trying to find a 3rd to import, but was browsing pistonheads and spied this little beauty.
Anyway be kind, just spunked a wad of cash on her doing cam belt, and the rad decided to pop after just 2 days of ownership, hope it's not a sign of things to come! I had it all checked out at the Scooby Clinic before handing over my hard-earned so it should be sweet!

Nice
I had 13 happy years of MR2 ownership..........it's just got difficult to get the wife, 3 kids and the dog to the beach LOL
Nope....MR2's not tail happy like RWD Beemers, unless it's snowing MR2's handle much better than Scoobs IMHO.
Bugeye's tend to stick together......it looks familiar, anyone on SN ?

I don't think the guy was on here, he said he wasn't anyway ...
MR2's are tail happy if you press the wrong pedal at the wrong time and in the wrong conditions Also the right tyres are a must!
I wrote my first one off, probs a bit down to I was used to FWD cars, but it also had 2 different sorts of budget tyres on the rear and it was raining and a weird camber corner. It span as if it was on ice, no way I could catch it, and I ended up bouncing off a 60ft wall. Those from chesterfield, it was the slip road from Kwik fit to the A61 leading towards Tesco, with the 2 giant walls either side, you can still see some blue paint on there
