Sad event, but if it turns out they stole the car, then not much sympathy here.

Feel sorry for the chap who had his car nicked, but on the bright side at least he knows it was put to good use.

I just hate car thieves and have no sympathy, have more sympathy for the owner of the car.
Pity it didn't take his mate out too.

I am sad to hear of the death of the SUBARU,
still on a brighter note one less thieving scumbag on the planet,
every cloud as they say.

Product of a chav family, with a dad in prison, and a mum shacked up with a black guy(whos probably a bouncer), and no hope in life! (imo of course).

Good riddance, and the poor owner should get a nice scoob when the payout comes, cos the market is so flat!

think you guys are being a little ahrsh, lets wait to see if it was stolen, also a death penalty for steeling a car coem on bit over the top,

for all you know yes it may of been stolen but what if they swerved to miss hitting a kid who had run out on the street

If they hadn't been in the stolen car to start with, they wouldn't have put anyone at risk and they would have been home playing on their playstations,
Plus you wouldn't be this nice if they had stolen your scooby (sorry to be hard hitting, got no sympathy for thieves)

its the day and age we live in, people will take what they cant have, wrong i know but that is just how it goes, and yes your are right if it were my car they had taken i would think of it in a different light i would want my car back in one piece, not wrapped around a lamp post, just think wishing people dead is a bit strong for a car thief, now a rapist, child abuser now that is a different matter but a car thief. just my opinion.

To be honest, if it had been my car that had been stolen that would have been exactly the outcome I'd have wanted

After getting it back completely unscathed, of course

*edit after reading the second link, so it was actually HIS car then, and not stolen, yet the 16 year old has still been released on bail?

Well First it says "A Subaru he was driving" the on the next paragraph says "when his car"

All very confusing especially as the other guy is apparently out on bail

waste of a scoob , and a total waste of life, looks like it was his car anyway probaby,
even if it were nicked did he really deserve to die,its a costly lesson that effects more than just the deceasesd
alot of the fault lies with the justice system for being slack in the first place, when these car thieves get caught at an early age they are slapped on the hand told not to do it again and sent on holiday ,sorry community service for a month
come down hard on em in the first place show em it aint worth it ,zero tolorance in the start wud save lives, and maybe give these people the chance to make something of themselves .the same goes for burglars , shoplifters etc etc
stop ***** footing around with em and show em crime dont pay

all just my point of view of course

i agree with scoobygreg. same goes to knife crime, reckon if your caught with a knife you should have an instant 1-5 years imprisonment depending on the type of knife and the type of situation. obviously if you have just bought a set of knives from your local kitchen hardware shop then it shouldn't apply

car thiefs should suffer a lifetime ban, and a definate prison sentence

A 16-year-old passenger, arrested on suspicion of being in a stolen motor vehicle,

that tells me it was tea leafed or at least under suspicion of being tea leafed

It's all a bit confusing. It doesn't say in either story that the car was stolen just that a Passenger was arrested. Doesn't even say he was in the car that crashed killing the lad. He may of been in another car that was involved or he may of had a warrant out on him from another situation and they arrested for that.

Not enough info here to really comment.
