Where to go for a re-map??

Default Where to go for a re-map??

Morning all, im really thinking of getting my classic 00 re-mapped soon and was just woundering where to go in the Herts area (or there abouts) and wot sort of money do you think id be looking a to make it around 280 bhp???
Iv got most basic mods done, next stage is for this really!
Need more horses

if you were to decat the down pipe mate,you would more than likley see 300bhp with a remap.

no mate you will have your standard ecu... Ecutek is the software they use to remap your existing ecu

either by using a rolling road, with the car put through it's paces while connected to a laptop or with the mapper sat in the passenger seat with you hairing round the public highways while he "map's" the fuel/timing etc under specific engine loads.

(Very simply put)... the latter is FAR more fun

BR developments would be my choice....but he's local to me.

yes mate, just connects under the dash..a map can vary in time..ide say a couple of hours

earphones on the block (listning for DET)
boost gauge in the drivers window.. LOL

2 hours I remember....

Only three people I'd recommend for you to get a re-map done at would be:

Andy Forrest
Bob Rawle
Simon - Jolly Green Monster

I only know these are the business due to me and friends using them and seeing their work done with my own eyes. There may be other "good" mappers out there and I do know of others but personally those three are the best in the country.

Also get your self an Apexi Power FC and Commander Handset you'll never go wrong with that and will be able to set your car up yourself using it.

Don't ask about price. Re-mapping costs are a touchy subject here with the sponsers
