Hi all,
Totally new to scoob ownership, but I've got a question about the 03 WRX that I own.
The log book dates of registration and registration in the UK are the same, but yet the service book shows a PDI taken place at a Subaru dealership in Belgium. I've also got a letter to the first owner stating that the scoob is registered on the UK databases for cross border warranty purposes.

Does that make the car an 'import' - as I'd usually define import as being more importing from Japan, for scoobs anyway.
Or does it mean my car is just a european scoob? Buying it from Belgium, I guess the first owner just drove to the nearest ferry port and was home in an afternoon.

There is nothing else to show its come from Japan/Belgium or Iraq. So how the chuff would I know (if I didn't have these original letters and a service manual??)

If the service history book is white it's an import. Mines from Belguim too, Uk spec but still classed as an import.

To make sure, just note the chassis number down and call up Subaru. I'm sure they can confirm if it's an import or not.
