Have you seen Dark Blue X reg classic
Help wanted in finding Dark Blue X reg Classic four males in car around 5.30 today (20/07/08) between Denton and Guidebridge Tameside, hit me at the rear then overtook at the side of me repeatedly hitting my car with the back passenger door.
Any information appreciated as this has left my two year old daughter petrified, will be damage on the X reg front bumper and back left passenger door, also to any other female drivers in Imprezas these lads are very aggressive and appear to be after the car. Thought to be a stolen vehicle.

5.30............I was around there at that time aswell!
Hope you have reported it to the cops. They may try and fob you off with classifying it as a road traffic accident, but if you feel the lads were after your car then let the cops know your feelings. It will be investigated a little better that way.
Best off posting in the 'was it you section' also.

I'll keep my eyes open in Stockport Aswell
Bugger... come to think of it I saw a scruffy dark blue classic Turbo 2000 around the Gorton Area last week on my way home. It was 2 up with Scally/Drug dealer types and they were defanately checking me out.
Can't remember the Reg, this was in the mount road area. Driver in a grey baseball cap

The driver of the X reg was wearing a baseball cap when this happened to me yesterday, just glad that I drive with my doors locked.
My car is off road now waiting to be repaired and the police are not interested in pursuing it as they have classed it as a RTA does anyone know to obtain cctv as I know there are cameras on the main road where this happened, all help appreciated

So sorry to hear about ur exp, and hope ur little girl is ok.
The police in this country are useless and I hope some of you are reading this as u are all employed and say its not our fault its how the system works. But you all blindly follow it.
I saw two lads pushing a motor bike last week that they had blatantly stolen, I tried for nearly an hour to report it and no one was interested.

Sorry to hear about this. There's some (unts out there at the moment. Even more so after female drivers, doesn't matter what car your driving people think that because your a female your more vunerable, which in some cases is true.
Couple of tips for you:
Drive with the doors locked like you say.
Try and keep a male in with you as often as possible.
Invest in one of these fancy gismos that when your cars nicked you tap a button and it cuts the fuel etc.
And plainly just be careful about where/when your driving and who/whats around you.
If you see someone coming close to you and think that the same is going to happen again, drive straight to the local police station and show them the damage and give a full statment there and then.

I have no doubt they would have done everything possible based on the information given to thm by Gemma.
If CCTV exists them im sure that would have been checked.
Lets hope these ******* are later identified and dealt with.

I think it has alot to do with what car you drive. No ones gonna bother with a datsun

Blimey, what a horrible ordeal to go through.
Don't let it put you off driving or getting around as the chances of this happening to you again i would guess are reasonably small.
How close to your residence did this take place and was anyone else around??
5.30 is quite a busy time in most places.
i'm sure you'll find out who it was with a little local investigation and some scoobynet eyes around!!!
good luck in getting a resolve, but as you said noone was hurt luckily and cars can be fixed!!

If there's anything I can do Gemma let us know

If the police are saying it's an RTA shouldnt they be trying to find him for failing to stop at the scene of an accident Keep on at the police, you are within your right. Or file a complaint of criminal damage.
