Older car more mods or newer car less mods?
I'm on the lookout for a Blobeye STI, 2003+, and have found a few that i'm interested in.
Now if you were me, would you prefer a slightly older car with more miles and a few goodies i.e. this one for example - Subaru : SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI PRODRIVE 325 BHP
Or would you prefer a newer car with less miles and less mods i.e. - Auto Trader UK - SUBARU IMPREZA 2.0 WRX STi 4dr Saloon
your thoughts please
Thanks

Given a free choice pick a MY05+ as it's a better car - wider track, more goodies etc.
The above isn't really like for like though is it as one is £11k & the other £13k ...
TX.
Edit - IMHO stay away from Scoobs with neons though!

Plus thats another thing to throw in the mix, less money, more mods but older car.
Not into Neons either so would take them off................... that a bad sign though???

With hindsight I'd be more tempted in the future with a car from here that has been well looked after & has had tasteful / well known mods by reputable companies. You'll of course get more of a "bargain" when buying a car already modded than the same one & then modding yourself. I should know as my mods cost circa £2.5k yet don't bump up the cars value by that
Perhaps look in the for sale section for members with significant post counts who are selling?

This one seems pretty good value?

Spec C which is miles better than a UK STi (flame suit on!).

The Tax is only cheaper if it was imported before March 06. My last car (Leggy JDM 2.0l Twin scroll) was imported last July on a 04 plate £300 last year but was in the £400 bracket this year.
Unusual colour but a good spec. On my second car from Litcho's, very happy.
