i see ur from northants, lol. and when i first read ur post i thought ud have a newage, and looked and u have. that seems like a problem a few people have had with bov's on newages.... it disturbs the ecu. have u tried one that still makes the sound....but dumps the air back into the engine rather than in the air?? this may help. or try fitting ur previous bov back on and see if the problem continues

yea the one i had on before this one vented to atmosphere and had no problem with it but this one just doesn't seem quite right the piston moves inside it but its un even blow offs at differing rpm ranging from 3.5 up to 5 k and when you changing gear it over revs the engine and yea northamptonshire in a quiet village lol

There is nothing wrong with the original dump valve. Fitting an aftermarket BOV does nothing for performance.

Why spend money on something that just makes you look like a tw@t

Not sure if it is a Turbosmart dump valve which sounds like what you may have so try here for information TURBOSMART

If you purchased it from an online auction site then I do not think they have any adjustment and would not recommend changing the spring etc as it could have an unwanted effect on the engine, i.e. having to have part of it stripped and rebuilt.

Hope that was some help
