Depends how quickly you want to sell it, but given the current state of the market I'd say an average price (so not priced to sell quickly) would be somewhere around the £6500 mark.

Take a look on Autotrader. Things are nowhere as dire as some of the pessimists on here suggest. £6500 is classic / Bugeye money. My National search upto £6500 revealed just 3 Blobeyes. 2 wagons with big miles and a 04 saloon. Plenty of cars at £8 to £8.5k
Don't be misled and undersell your car. Best of luck too

Exactly. Some of the ones with dealers on auto trader have been there for months now. Nobody is being pessimistic on here, just realistic in the current financial climate. Personally, I think u must be mad to sell an Impreza at the moment.

Bugeyed one's are cheapest to buy but hard to sell cos most people don't like that look of them (simple headlight conversion is all thats needed)
Had mine evaluated a week ago and is worth 8K even though i bought it for 6K....
basicly i was told that because subaru have been bring out face lifts and new shapes so quick that the classics are know going up in price. which means soon we will have to get classic insurance for them..
don't take my word for it but just what i have been told and read about.
Hum. garage ya car keep it clean and could be worth some money soon.
