Its a MY00 (Jan00) on a V plate
Royal Silver 4 door
Unmarked Condition
Colour Coded
Air Con
26k FSH
17" Wheels
Standard (will be anyway )
I'm the 2nd owner
Looking at various dealer sites, seem to be going for 14-15k
What's the average mark-up they make for washing a car and sticking a few numbers in the window? 1.5k, 2k, more
I'm thinking I'll get around 12-13k for it paid 16k 8 months ago, only done 7k in that time.
What you think?

Yeah I know
I'm undecided, the spoilers going going...gone (Sunday maybe)
Hiper Exhaust is being swapped out for a ScoobySport (next weekend)
The DTA valve is for sale..
I may decide to keep the car for a while, just running it as it was when I got it. I always said when I first bought it I wouldn't mod this one..didn't last long, now I find myself looking at Link modules..I just want to stop it before it goes crazy!
Also hearing more and more car jacking horrors, insurance going up by as much as 40% things like this add to me wanting a less high profile car.
Give me a week and I'll probably snap out this depression

I hope you do John, don't let the threat of car jackers stop you enjoying what you work hard for...lets face it who are they to dictate to us?
I can simpathise regarding insurance, but again, if you want things like scoobs, you gotta shop around, feel content that you have "a good deal" and swallow it as yet another price we have to pay to live on our wonderful island.
I dont spose you would sell your house cos the "poll tax" (whatever its called) has gone up again (?)
If it was due to the expected new arrival, well, I could understand that...nowt more important than our children!
Lets put in perspective;
a) Children
b) Old woman (better half)
c) House
d) Dog (pets)
e) Scooby
f) Rest of world
Good luck whatever way you go John...
Moles Dad.

My car is very similar - Jan '00 V reg, 30k miles, aircon and 17" wheels. I also have the PPP and PIAA driving lights. I've been offered £13500 as a trade-in against a new STI.
Given that I bought the car new at the full UK price (plus accessories), I fully intend to reject that offer - I can't afford to lose over £10k in two years. That sort of depreciation is just depressing. Much as I'd love an STI, I'd be looking at a private sale and a Euro import instead.
Andy.
