Default CHUFFED WITH FUEL ECONOMY

filled up with 50 litres when the red light came on did 60 miles of local round the cornish lanes commuting as i do and then blasted up the A30 to exeter and back, small bit off motorway and then in the town, did the return journey and the red light came on as i pulled into the driveway, also had the aircon on all the way as it was mighty hot down this way, wasnt hanging about either as the traffic was all moving pretty quickly, had to laff when an unmarked VOLVO pulled a guy in a brand new merc as he spanked it past me, must have been doing 110-115mph at least!!!

My Scoob is much better fuel economy than the 3.0 V6 Shogun I have, and the Toyota 2.4 Previa too

It helped that you basically did all this in one journey. Do the same journey in short hops and it'll kill the mpg. Makes a change to hear some positive mpg news though.

thats what i normally do on the work run its about 25 a day through crapppy back roads usually do about 25 but u can only go about 40 0n most of those roads
reckon i would have had better if the missus hadnt whinged she had been hot and asked for the AIR CON to be on all the way, does it use much more fuel when u use it??

my missus insists on having the window open rather than use the air con she says she needs air
