Due to the re-configuration of Steve’s computer last night, he has lost all his old emails. This is down to my fault for not checking his configuration properly.
If you know or deal with Steve could you please mail him your details at the following mail address: steve_.lawson@libertysurf.co.uk
Many Thanks
Dan

Whoops, what e-mail client is he using? reconfiguration shouldnt mean losing all the e-mails, only if you deleted the post file.
Of course, that depends on the e-mail client, I dont know all them.

Ronaldo, I will certainly try and make it, though I cant promise, depends on prior commitments.
Hopefully the weather decides to be kind and gives us a gloriously sunny 32 deg C day, although Ill be happy as long as its not snowing, us poor 2WD owners are prone to hiding under duvets unless the weather is perfect
I have a map book, and Im not afraid to use it....so far it looks like my best route is to go along the M25 towards Heathrow way (Clockwise), and then follow the other instructions from there, oh yes, Im coming from near Sevenoaks, a small but perfectly formed town near Tonbridge.
My only concern is just how slowly will I have to drive in order for you Scooby drivers to keep up? I suppose I could always order food and drinks when I get there, and it should be ready for when you lot finaly arrive (jokes).
Thanks
Gray

Oh dear, pity, I thought maybe it was a case of showing the Personal Folders where the pst file is, but if its gone, well, its a mistake.
Dont forget that in IT you should never admit to the mistake, instead, you should say that although you backed up the pst file, it has become corrupted to a degree that the Inbox Repair tool cant fix it, and through no fault of your own, the old e-mails are now irretrievable.
After saying this, you should always have an under breath cuss about Microsoft and Bill Gates, that way the user will have someone other than yourself to vent their anger on, but as you were doing it for a friend, you have to be honest.
