On the MOT after me doing it, the garaged rekoned they
had to realign my lights. But tbh I think they always
say that when they can't find a failure - helps them justify the
their MOT fee

IF you havnt knocked the aligmnet screw should be ok, the first de tango I did on my bug was fine but on my blob it was way out after de tango. It does not cost much to have the headlight re aligned & it stops people flashing you !

Search for detango or similar, there are a good few guides around, it's not that hard to remove them and well worth the effort. My Blob instructions are here

i remember doing something simalar to a fiat coupe i used to own as i wanted to paint the lights. just wasn't sure if there was a different way of doing it. i did my subaru last night but wasn't keen on the oven idea lol so i submerged the headlight in about 3 inches of hot bath water. seemed to do the trick.
