I can't seem to Upload my photos onto my profile??
Hi all,
I took a few new shots of my old bus the other day and I can't seem to get them to upload onto my profile.
I've only loaded 5 on so far so I've got room, and I'm exactly what I did last time, its just not having it.
I go to edit profile, go down to the photo section, browers and then select my photo. The URL number transfers into the browers box. I click on upload and nothing.
I get the little green timebar at the bottom, a few minutes and the pages refreash as though the photos have uploaded but they haven't.
I don't get any warning alerts of error messages. I can't figure it out. And they was me thinking I was computer literate.

How do I resize my photos I've never had the need to do it before.
I've check and the size and MB are significantly higher in the ones that aren't uploading so I presume it is to do with that.

Not being very technical I just emailed my pics to myself and used the smaller ones that were attached to the email probably not the answer you wanted, but it worked for me

Easiest way is to upload them to a free hosting site such as Photobucket (other sites are available ) and to highlight and copy the "IMG" code along side the photo in photobucket, and paste it into your scoobynet profile....and the picture should appear.

Well, I've got my pictures on photobucket and I've pasted in the IMG code, but nothing seems to happen. It was as before the web page just doesn't respond. Anyone else got any ideas?

For Vista I do this.
Here's a useful workaround. When you email pictures, you have the option to
resize them before sending. So from Explorer, right click on the image and
chose "Send To->Mail Recipient." Choose the size you want. If this is your
first time using mail, you'll be asked to provide email settings. If you
won't be using email, you can just specify a few random characters in each
field. A email will be generated that contains your resized image(s) as
attachments. You can drag them from the email and do with them as you wish.
Then close the email without sending.
