what new wheels for my blob ???
hello guys and girls. can i please have your opinions on what wheels to get for my 04 blobeye mica blue STi.
i want to stay with 17" so i can use my potenza re070's. pics of my car are on myprofil and there is a post in members gallery.
the originals are not in bad shape, just a few stine chips and stuff. no kurbing and they will be getting refurbed whilst my new wheels are on.
im in love with the gold rota gra wheel but havnt seen a blobeye with them on yet. anyone got them ?
many thanks
dan

Morning Dan, if they're the ones I'm thinking of
these: https://www.scoobynet.com/scooby.php?profileid=2404
then you can see them on ruislip's car at the next meet

If you're sticking with 17's
(which you should because RE070 are awesome )
then I would say keep the standard rims or try and find a set of these
BBS forged (much lighter than the stock wheels)
Only problem with the BBS will be trying to find some, especially in pre 05 fitment, but at least they are STI wheels and will work with your OEM only ethic
P.S. RE070 are only awesome if you're planning to drive the thing at some point

The Research Subaru garage near me in Nuneaton has a set and they offered them to me not too long ago for peanuts. They were second hand mind you, but in great condition. Does that help??

I think the only thing they were fitted on pre 05 was the spec C
If you do find a set check they're 100 not 115 pdc
