have you registered it online? you can select what rewards you want and other options.

they are sneaky as **** so i'm not surprised they have 'forgotten' to send you something out. i had 10000 points on the old optimax card before it changed to vpower, i assumed it would change over automatically. er, no.

after alot of searching because it's not made obvious, i got them transfered and got £50 worth of fuel vouchers within a few weeks. so eventually it does work

They're not quite as on the ball with their "loyalty" card as say Tesco is.. but they do get around to it.

I got my V-Power card last week - now I have proof what a stupid amount of money I spend on petrol!

Not a con, but not particularly rewarding either!!

I had the old Optimax card too, that was better, over the last few years I've probably had a couple of hundred quids worth of free fuel.

As said, you must register online and select what benefit you want (how many people have selected the eco friendly charity one!?).

If you have amassed enough points the reqards are issued quarterly, I don't remember getting anything through for a few months, certainly more than 3, obvioulsy not buying enough petrol.

I don't like that the reward is earned per litre, so now the price of petrol is rocketing, the value of the reward is dropping like a stone!

I also use a Shell Mastercard which gives me some cashback, I could probably find a better deal if I tried, but I think I have had, or have got most credit cards on offer ... balance transfers rule!! Still owe £3k on my scoob, paying off £100 a month at the mo on a 0% deal, though did get stung for 2.5% transfer fee.

How did you manage to get the v power card.Ive a standard shell card and in the small print,it seems that its by "invite" only,as a result of how much fuel you use

I don't use the 'qualifying' amount of fuel usually but got close one month so emailed them asking about it as i only had a Shell Driver's clubcard.

Received an email stating it was by invite only blah blah blah but lo and behold,3 weeks later a V Power card drops through the letterbox!

ill have a look online then , see whats what.

BILLYRAY911: I spend about 2- 3 hundred pounds on v power a month, so maybe minimum is £200 a month. Its not worth having one anyway!

Around 3 tanks a week for me I'm afraid.

Got a V Power Card unfortunately, what I have stored in my Tom Tom as a Shell Garage is often a BP one!##

The rewards rate is slightly less than the old Optimax card, but its worth it if you do high mileage - over the two cards I've had probably over £600 worth of vouchers over the last 4/5 years. I've just had £220 of Debenhams vouchers as a result of finally transfering the missing points from my old Optimax card.

And lets face it, it doesn't cost anything to use it if you fill up the VPower anyway

Should get a reward every 3 months i think, i've certainly had 2 lots of vouchers but you do have to set up online what reward you want
