Why not fit a water spray into yer Intercooler.

You should notice a difference on Hot Days.

My car has less on very hot days too, but living in the UK it is not to much of a disadvantage due to being wet or chilly most of the Year! Cold Winter mornings are a treat to drive as the car makes noticably more power and not to busy before 8.00ish where I live.........

Went for a run to Matlock today and my Spray bottle ran empty

Anyone notice the drop in power over last few 'hot'days.
I guestimate i was down 80bhp one lunch time (330i wiped the floor with me, although i was struggling to shift in my flip flops!)

Physics
hot air expands, so your not getting as much air in as you would on a cold day where its more dense, so less power.

All my previous turbo'd cars have felt down on power in the heat - as TB says and I assume that the management backs them off too?????

As soon as I can feel its backed off, I do to. This is another issue I have with having my current car - I won't use it when its raining and I don't really like using it when its very hot. Makes for a little used car
