Mine do this but I have put it down to the handbrake not being adjusted properly. It doesn't do it all the time. Does yours?

no its occassional, it will do it sometimes after i have used my handbrake, and sometimes after i brake it may start to squeek then. the handbrake seems fine though, it works properly as far as i am aware.

Sounds like mine. My handbrake still fully works, but I think the shoes need adjusting. It happens mostly when I've been driving a while, and is quite loud in traffic, if I pull the handbrake up a bit it goes.

Some rear pads have squeal warning strips in them for when they've worn down too much - had this on mine...

Here you go, I had the same thing last summer. (MY00 Uk Turbo)

I do a lot of motorway driving and last summer they started squeeling like a bitch. Only after I had been driving for a while in the heat.

Took them to my scooby dealer, pads were not worn but they were a little warped - so they filed them down a little and reset them.

The loud squeeling went away. However they still squeek a bit when I apply the brakes in hot weather / driving hard.

it can be the handbrake shoes slightly binding in hot weather . mine does it sometimes but a good yank of the handbrake normally sorts it out

check the pads arnt glazed though as this causes squeek to and they will need to be deglazed
