Hi all,

I am about to purchase a 93 (K registration) Subaru Impreza, mainly just for weekend use. I have been to look at it and it is in great nick. My only nag with it is the front end. Can the bonnet and bumper (and what ever else) be replaced with the 98/99 years, or which ever year it was face lifted?

Also where would one purchase such items ( i am in the north/west)

Just to add, the car is a WRX import with the 280bhp engine.

What are people's thoughts on this particular car?

Full facelift is bonnet, headlights, grille, bumper and front indicarors.

Some parts available new, some from breakers.

A 1993 car is only 240bhp also.

 

Great, cheers for that Micky. Interesting about it only having 240bhp he was adamant about the BHP. What year, if any did the imports get the 280bhp engine?

What bhp did yours come as standard and what has the reliability been like, also what is your average mpg.

Supposed to be 250bhp standard as its import sti v1
Had it on rollers with turbo trouble and boost turned down to 0.8bar (should be 1.2bar)and got 249.8bhp
