LOL
She's a beauty though, I can see why you're upset.
Regrettably mate, I very much doubt she'll attract that money. I also have an MY 99 modified to about the same level and with even lower mileage and if I were to have to sell it (which I've not intention of) realistically, I'd accept that I wasn't gonna get much more than 6-6.5k even for it.
Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear. It's a bad time to be selling a classic at the moment, they're not quite old or rare enough to warrant the prices their iconic status will no doubt yield at some point in the future. You never get back the money you invest in a car in terms of mods; sad but true!
That said, a car is worth what someone pays for it, and you never know....
Best of luck!

The 2nd hand value of Imprezas is nothing short of criminal. Considering the price of other similar older machinery. I really wanted a Lancia EVO1 but its hard to find a decent one under 10K and thats for a 70s design with poor build quality.
Still, at least it means us buyers will get a decent deal. 8K for a classic STI RA seems like a bargain. Newages are even better.

Everyone has said it, but I'll say it too coz I like the sound of my own voice. Only a total plonker will pay that for it. What you're saying is that after 8 years the car has only lost 60% of its value. I know the mods are expensive, but, if anything, they take value away from the car. If it was standard you could argue that it is very rare with that mileage, but with the mods it is just another Impreza. Unless it is just what someone is looking for I fear you won't get £6k let alone £8k+. Sorry.
