Cheers

By fitting a cat or finding a friendly garage which is getting harder to do with the computerised MOT's nowadays

The levels have come down .... so, a CAT fitted only car is the way to pass.

Not sure many will risk being 'friendly' - they could lose their licence.

Depends on your system, you could get away with the smaller centre cat if not then its a full downpipe cat you'll need.

There is 100's of 'friendly' mot testers out there, many don't worry about things like cats not being fitted.

All you have to do is ask and see if they are happy about testing a car without a cat fitted

More to the point, what year is your car and is it a UK/Euro car or a Jap import. The rules can be VERY different, to the point where early imports are not required to have cats fitted.
