I know that this has been an area of great debate in the past, but I'm not sure what, if anything was concluded.
I'm about to start running on my UK MY99 on octane booster. I currently run it on SUL, so am hoping for a slightly better results.
Am I right in thinking that on a UK99, the ECU will reset itself on its own. I didn't do anything special when I changed to SUL from UL and it seemed to work OK.
Thanks,
Matt

Matt,
If I were you I'd do a reset. I'd been running my MY99 on SUL + Millers for a while and it was better. Then I had some work done (new gearbox and clutch) which meant resetting the ECU. After that the car had much better pick up and was a lot smoother. Felt like a different car.

Thanks for the info guys. I think to start off with I'll let it work it out itself - I might attempt the reset when I get a bit braver
