Another ReMap thread.....lol
After skipping around the issue for a while i'm finaly ready to sort the ReMap on my 96 WRX
I had decided a while ago that i would go for for Simon (aka JGM) and messaged him on here. The price if i remember was around £500/£600 which i thought was high but seeing as i'd not have to use octane booster again and also the MPG savings and also the car would be so much nicer to drive it would be worth it.
He seemed a bit reluctant to come up to me as i'm in the North West and recomended somone else from Preston which seeing as i'm paying out so much i want the best. After searching again the ususal names crop up..Andy F who must be the busyest guy in the world i don't think he has time to MAP an old WRX like mine...Prosport seems another good option.By the way this is in no way a dig at Simon i just mean he's really busy which is a good thing.
My WRX has an FMIC..K&N..DV and has been fully decatted so i'm hoping for as close to 300 Brake at maximum but mainly i want it to be out of the factory smooth with the fuel cut done away with.I'm also planning on fitting a Walbro.
So who's the best for the older classics then???

they are all more than capable to map yr car , but I think the one nearest to you are Prosport ....they will look after your pride and joy , I have spent Thousands of ££ there..... so highly reccommended , but there will be a wait though as they are very busy ....so phone them and make a booking ! you will not be disappointed

I take that price includes a mappable ecu or do you already have one?
With the mods you have, if you fitted 440's and i think a fuel pressure reg' you should be able to have it mapped to 1.35 bar around 320-330bhp.

I went through 3 set of injectors and 4 turbos in my quest for power (wish I bought my current set in the first place ) so I say upgrade to the ones that will meets yr final power figures and you will save a fortune on parts/labour and mapping cost
